Can I use non-English characters?
We support a wide range of characters from European languages. If a character isn’t available in your chosen font, we’ll automatically print your message using Noto Sans to make sure it appears as intended.
Noto Sans supports Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek scripts. However, characters from some languages including those used in parts of the Middle East and Asia aren’t currently supported and may not print correctly.
Noto Sans is a global font collection designed to support many modern and ancient languages, but our current setup supports Latin-based scripts, Cyrillic, and Greek only.
Can I use Emojis inside my card?
Yes! 🎉 If you include emoji in your message, they will be printed on your card, just like any other text or symbol.
Why do emojis preview differently to the printed version?
Different platforms (like iPhone, Android, and WhatsApp) display emojis in their own unique styles. Depending on the devise your using to create your card, will determine the emoji style that's shown in the preview.
What do the emojis look like when printed?
All emojis will then be printed in a clean, colourful style using a font called 'Noto Color Emoji'. This is the same emoji style you might recognize from Android or Google services. They won’t look exactly like Apple or WhatsApp emojis, so take a look at the example below.

Why might emojis be removed from my card design?
We can print emojis on any size card – no problem there! 👍
The only time you might see emojis disappear is if you're creating or adding a message to a Group Card. That’s because Group Cards don’t support certain special characters (including some emojis).
If you pop one in, we’ll automatically remove any unsupported characters and show you the below error message to let you know what's changed.
