How does it work?
eCards allow you to instantly send love to someoneâs inbox, and theyâre super quick and easy.
How do I order an eCard?
You can create your Moonpig eCard just like youâd create a standard Moonpig card. Choose a card you like then select âeCardâ as the size. You can personalise it and upload photos using our editor tool, then add your message inside.
â ď¸ Important: You must select 'eCard' as the size right at the start when choosing your card design. You can't convert a physical card to an eCard (or vice versa) once it's in your basket.
Once youâve finished your creation, youâll be asked to enter the recipientâs name and email address.
â ď¸If you don't know your recipients email address, No problem! Enter your own email address so you can forward this on via email or a messaging service
â ď¸Itâs really important to double-check the recipientâs email address is spot on. If thereâs a typo, their card might not make it into their inbox!
As soon as youâve completed check out, weâll send them an email that includes a link to their personalised eCard. It will display a virtual version of the card that they can open and read using their computer mouse if theyâre on desktop or their fingers if theyâre on a smart phone.
How much does it cost?
Our eCards cost ÂŁ/$/âŹ0.99 each.
Currently in Australia eCards are offered for free!
How do I know if my eCardâs been sent?
You will receive a confirmation email. This email will also contain a link to your eCard.
What if the recipient doesn't receive their eCard?
If after 24 hours the recipient still hasnât received their eCard, please get in touch with our Customer Services Team.
Additionally, ensure the email address provided is correct and that the recipient checks their spam or junk folder.
How do I change my card format to or from an eCard?
If youâve already added a card to your basket, itâs not possible to change the format before checkout. This means:
If you chose a physical card (Standard, Large, or Giant), you canât switch it to an eCard once itâs in the basket.
If you chose an eCard, you canât switch it to a physical format from the basket either.
So make sure you pick the right format before you start personalising, as you wont be able to change this later. However if you've already chosen a physical format (Standard, Large, or Giant) you will be able to change the size of the card directly from the basket.
â ď¸ Already started personalizing the wrong format? You'll need to remove the card from your basket and start fresh. Select the correct format (eCard or physical) when you choose the design again.
Note that not all card designs are available as eCards. If the eCard option doesnât appear, try selecting a different design.
How do I know if a design is available as an eCard?
When you're browsing cards, look for the 'eCard' option in the size selector. If the eCard option doesn't appear for a specific design, that card is only available as a physical card (Standard, Large, or Giant).
If you've already chosen a design and can't see the eCard option, you'll need to go back and select a different card design that supports eCards
đĄ Pro tip: Choose your card format (eCard, Standard, Large, or Giant) BEFORE you start personalizing. Once you've added it to your basket and started editing, you can't change between eCard and physical formats.
Why can't I find eCards on the App?
Unfortunately we can't offer eCards on our iOS or Android Apps. However, you can create and send eCards using the web or mobile web version of our website.
